Product overview
Caustic soda flakes are solid sodium hydroxide, a strong alkali with a very broad range of industrial uses. The flake form is convenient for storage, handling and dissolving on site.
It is used in chemical manufacturing, soap and detergent production, pulp and paper, textile mercerizing and scouring, and alumina processing. In water treatment it neutralizes acidity and adjusts pH. It is highly corrosive and must be handled with appropriate protection.
