Product overview

Turkey red oil is produced by sulfating castor oil, creating an anionic surfactant that disperses readily in water. It is one of the oldest synthetic surfactants used in industry.

Textile processors use it as a wetting and dyeing auxiliary and as a softener, and it is used in leather fatliquoring. It also serves as an emulsifier in lubricant and other industrial formulations.

Applications
