Ferric Chloride
Iron(III) chloride
Iron-based coagulant for wastewater and drinking water, also used for metal etching.
Applications
- Coagulation & flocculation
- Wastewater treatment
FeSO4
Iron salt used as a coagulant and reducing agent, an iron source for agriculture and a cement additive.
Ferrous sulphate is an iron(II) salt, most commonly traded as the green crystalline heptahydrate. It acts as both a coagulant and a reducing agent.
In water and wastewater treatment it is used for coagulation and phosphate removal. Agricultural users apply it to correct iron deficiency in soils and plants, and cement producers use it to reduce hexavalent chromium.
Typical uses for this chemical. Suitability for a specific process, and grade requirements for food, pharmaceutical or potable-water use, should be confirmed with our team.
