Hydrated lime is calcium hydroxide, a fine white alkaline powder produced by reacting quicklime with water.
It is used in mortars, plasters and soil stabilization, for pH correction, softening and sludge treatment in water and wastewater, for neutralizing acidic soils, and in flue gas treatment and chemical processing.
