Magnesium Chloride
Magnesium salt used in de-icing, dust control, magnesia cement and as an industrial magnesium source.
Applications
- De-icing & dust control
- Cement, concrete & mortar
CaCl2
Hygroscopic inorganic salt used for de-icing, dust control, concrete acceleration and brine applications.
Calcium chloride is a highly soluble, hygroscopic salt that releases heat as it dissolves. These properties make it a practical choice for de-icing, dust suppression and moisture control, and a common calcium source in industrial brines.
In construction it is used to accelerate concrete setting in cold conditions, while process industries use it in drilling fluids, refrigeration brines and water hardness adjustment. Food processing applications require an appropriate food-grade material.
Typical uses for this chemical. Suitability for a specific process, and grade requirements for food, pharmaceutical or potable-water use, should be confirmed with our team.

| pH | 7.5-11.0 |
| Parameter | Typical value |
|---|---|
| CaCl2 | ≥ 94% (94-97%) |
| Alkali chlorides (as NaCl) | ≤ 5% |
| MgCl2 | ≤ 0.5% (some producers ≤ 2.0%) |
| Ca(OH)2 (alkalinity) | ≤ 0.2-0.3% |
